Description
Hi there, presented here is the 1968 double LP masterpiece from Jimi Hendrix - "Electric Ladyland". This item is the original 1968 Track Records issue, with EJ Day laminated sleeve, catalogue number 613008/9. The Track Records issue is now becoming harder and harder to find. I shall now describe the condition :-
The sleeve - Generally in very good condition, with little or no "laminate lift", only slight where there is some creasing to the laminate, exactly in the places where you would expect it, ie around the edges of the sleeve. Ebay policy prevents me from showing the sleeve, but as mentioned, this is the original "naked ladies" version. White text on inside of gatefold sleeve. No writing or stains. Some edge wear, and a small (approx 1.5 inches) split to the spine, but doesn't look overbearing.
The labels - In excellent condition, minimal spindle wear, no writing. Very vibrant and true. The matrix numbers are as follows :- Side A - A/1 Side B - B/1 Side C - A/1 Side D - B/1
The records - Generally in good condition, surface wear on all sides, which look like the type caused by the old rubber style turntable matts. A few surface marks also, though nothing deep. Needs to be held under a bright light do detect most of these. The album plays through ok, with some surface noise. This obviously varies from player to player. No jumps or sticks when played on my system.
All in all then, a nice example of an increasingly rare gem. Thanks very much for looking.
