Description
White label promo first pressing in a gatefold sleeve. Reprise Records ?– MS 2034. Round yellow decal sticker top left with artist name and name of LP. 1A/1A in the dead wax together with "Sterling" and "RL" indicates mastered at Sterling Sound by Bob Ludwig. No indication that a promo track listing sticker was on this copy. Vinyl and jacket VG+. Small split back half of gatefold top, no writing. Labels clean. Vinyl professionally cleaned and play graded. Shipped in an LP mailer.
Amazing pure analog pressing with an exceptional sound stage. Produced by Eddie Kramer together with Hendrix and Mitch Mitchell. Noel Redding not credited on MY FRIEND. Date of 1970 on spine (official general release was on March 5, 1971). "Made in USA" on sleeve seam and record label. As for the music: reviews consistently put it at 5 stars or A rating.
