I try to grade conservatively. That said, if you believe I have missed something please contact me and I'll try and make it right. My Grading (Visual, unless otherwise noted) VINYL: Mint (M, rarely used grade, if ever): Verifiably unplayed and unblemished. Only manufacturing marks accepted. Full gloss and shine and labels have no spindle trails or wear. Near Mint (NM) Looks flawless. Maybe played a few times but no marks due to mishandling. Looks brand new and retains full gloss and shine. Labels have little to no spindle trails or wear. Near Mint Minus (NM-) Looks close to flawless. May have some light hairlines and/or marks from being taken in and out of the sleeve, retains full gloss and shine. Labels have only a trace of any spindle trails or wear. Excellent (EX)A few light scuffs and/or hairlines, too many to be NM- but no scratches that cause surface noise and labels may have a few spindle trails. Will play NM. Will still have full gloss. Very Good Plus (VG+): A few light scuffs and/or scratches that are superficial and only cause minimal surface noise (nothing distracting-- no clicks or pops). Labels may have light wear and a few spindle trails at hole and some minimal writing. A played but well (if not perfectly) cared for record. Vinyl still has most of its gloss and shine. Very Good (VG) This means very good not half trashed!!! Record will have several light superficial scuffs and/or scratches and a few needle scratches some of which may be felt and heard, but record will play thru w/o skipping or sticking. Record may also have some minor groove wear, which will add to surface noise. Spindle holes can have several trails and moderate wear and writing on labels. Vinyl must retain some of its gloss and shine. I normally do not sell items below VG, but when I do, I will give a thorough description of the record's problems. Cover I do not usually grade covers, I prefer to list each defect and have a clear picture of the front and back cover. If you want to see a picture of any other detail let me know and I will add it to the listing if possible.
