Description
A superb and very rare piece of Rock history. Jethro Tull played only two nights at the Empire Pool, Wembley in June 1973, to promote their 'A Passion Play' album. I bought this official programme at the concert.
It spent some time pinned to my bedroom wall (stupid, but I was only 16!!) and since then it has been kept safely in a folder and taken out to be looked at from time to time.
It has been stored flat and out of sunlight. There are no tears, creases, folds or pen marks. Colours have not faded at all.
Only negative is one pin hole in the top left corner. Other than that it is in excellent condition for its age.
ADDED BONUS Included with this item is the bootleg 'show souvenir' which was being sold by touts before the doors opened. Most people threw them away when they realised that it was not the official programme - the ground was littered with them when we came out at the end. So this is a real rarity and quite interesting to see just how bad it was - cheaply printed and full of stupid mistakes (see how many you can spot!) The condition is not as good as the official programme, but still not too bad - it has a fold in the middle, some very minor cover wear and a pin hole in the top left corner (sorry!) Some of the printing inside is faded but that's how it was when I bought it.
