Description
This is a rare 3 vinyl LP set of the original London cast recording of "Jesus Christ Superstar", released by Decca in 1970 and featuring Ian Gillan and Murray Head. The first two records are the complete original cast recording, the rare third record is an open end interview with Ian Gillan, Time Rice, and Andrew Lloyd Webber. It was sent as promotional material to DJs so that they gave the impression that they were interviewing the creators of "Jesus Christ Superstar." Aside from some minor light scuff marks that don't affect play all 3 records and slipcovers are in great condition. The foldout box in which they are housed is in tact and in a great condition. Includes original 28-page libretto and typed 26-page transcription of interviews on the 3rd LP with an introductory note by show producer Fred Robbins, both are in great condition.
