Description

Rare copy of Jerry Sadowitz's legendary 1987 comedy album 'Gobshite' (Self-Released, Limited Edition LP). 
Recorded live at the Assembly Rooms during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 1987, this album is infamous for being immediately withdrawn from sale and recalled shortly after release due to fears of a massive libel lawsuit from Jimmy Savile. Sadowitz notoriously called out the TV personality decades before the truth finally came to light posthumously. Because it was pulled from record store shelves almost instantly, only a handful of copies survived.
