Jeff Beck Group 'Truth' Mono White Label Promo LP 1968 Epic Records
This is an extremely rare copy of this classic album, a musical blueprint for so much that came after it. Released in July '68, Epic Records no doubt felt that a mono pressing would encourage airplay on AM radio but pressed so few of them that they didn't bother printing up dedicated covers for a mono edition. Instead there is an 'Epic Mono' sticker placed on the front cover, and the promo designation is "Demonstration Not For Sale" rubber-stamped on the back cover in red ink.
The white label has 'Demonstration Not For Sale' & the Epic catalog numbers, but no indication of stereo or mono.
Condition overall is VG:
The cover is G+; corner dent upper right and some dings along the bottom left and general wear (see photos)
The LP is NM; no spindle marks or sign of wear, only played a few times.
