Jazz at the Philharmonic Vol. 14 - with Charlie Parker, Willie Smith, Coleman Hawkins, Lester Young, Buck Clayton, Buddy Rich, Kenny Kersey, Billy Hadnott and Irving Ashby. Included is Jazz at the Philharmonic Newsletter which includes a review of this set.
1952 issue; recorded Live "Embassy Theatre", Los Angeles, CA, April 22, 1946.
Records are in VG+/VG condition, play quite nicely. Labels are good radio station sticker and tape on all labels. Box is in Nice Condition, shelf wear, some age toning on liner notes inside front cover, all corners intact but for 2 which are neatly taped. David Stone Martin cover illustration.
This set was found in an old radio station library in eastern Massachusetts.
