This is RITUAL  by  THE JAZZ MESSENGERS featuring ART BLAKEY from Pacific Jazz Records (M-402). Liner notes by Ed Michel. The album was originally recorded on July 9, 1955, and released by Debut later that same year. This is an early issue with liner notes dated June of 1962. Jacket is nice; LP shows a few spindle marks but no scratches. Plays with some very soft extraneous noise showing up throughout. Listenable and enjoyable.

When you buy from a small Mom & Pop business you are not helping a CEO buy a third vacation home, a second yacht or a four hundred million dollar golden parachute.  Instead, you’re helping a little girl get dance lessons, a little boy get his team jersey, a Mom put food on the table, a Dad pay a mortgage, or a student pay for college. Our customers are our shareholders; they are the ones we strive to make happy. Thank you for supporting small businesses.
