Description

Thelonious Monk, Himself, on Prestige 235.  Original mono issue with deep groove and no "Inc." after "Bill Grauer Productions."  Superb vinyl has full shine, no spindle marks.  A-side is strong VG+ to M-, just a couple of very minor, superficial marks that don't sound.  B-side has a couple of similar marks, plus a small patch of paper scuffs, so nice VG+.  Front cover is very clean with just a little ring wear, rear cover has light wear/aging, seams are tight.  A very nice record in a very nice package.

GRADING
M-  A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG+  Full gloss, some light marks.  A very, very attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG   More marks and scratches, will have some surface noise, but still a playable record.  Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG-  Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems.
G+ and G  Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
