Description
Byron Janis & Dorati and the MSO -
Rachmaninoff CONCERTO No. 2 -
Mercury SR90260 - Non-color back; RFR1/RFR6 -
VERY BEST!
Byron Janis's classic playing here of the Rachmaninoff, some say, is without peer, the recording one of Wilma Cozart's early efforts at Mercury.
Note, too, this is a vendor label, RFR1 release, pressed on George Piros' favorite lathe, p17.
Laminated cover is very smart indeed, without fault; inside, is the heavy Merc platter in VG+ playing condition.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
