Description
Jan and Dean "Meet Batman" Vinyl LP Liberty Records LSP 3444 (1966) Stereo
Jan and Dean was an American rock duo consisting of William Jan Berry (April 3, 1941 – March 26, 2004) and Dean Ormsby Torrence (born March 10, 1940). In the early 1960s, they were pioneers of the California Sound and vocal surf music styles popularized by the Beach Boys.
Jan and Dean Meet Batman is a concept album with its tongue planted firmly in its cheek. If you're a fan of the old TV show, you'll enjoy the campy and corny jokes here.
Disc is VG.
Cover is G+ with major split seams top and bottom, There is also some missing paper on the lower part of the back cover.
The original Liberty Records inner sleeve is G+ with some major split seams.
See photos.
I think this is their rarest LP, and I also think this (the stereo) version is scarcer than the mono version.
From a non-smoking household.
