Comments: Classic Jamaica, Queens, NYC Funk with Roy C in charge. This copy comes from a long defunct record store in Corona, Queens, i.e very close from its musical origin. Though original lyrics were for a certain Mr. Nixon back in 1973 they got new relevance almost 50 years later from a fellow who grew up in the same Queens hood after being born at the Jamaica Hospital. If you have not paid attention, there is another excellent Funker on the B-side.

“Impeach The President” was sampled on “Luv Me, Luv Me” by Shaggy feat. Janet Jackson.
