Description

You are bidding on an LP.  Jackson Heights – Ragamuffins Fool, very good condition cover and excellent vinyl (see notes below).  The item will be well packaged in a record mailer with 2 stiffeners (the vinyl removed and placed in a white paper sleeve to prevent seam splits) and sent immediately upon payment.  First Class postage in the UK, 'Standard International' to other destinations (see below).  I have tried to be as honest as I can about its condition but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Please read all the descriptions and P&P charges before bidding.

LISTEN BEFORE BIDDING
Listen to the whole album before bidding.

This is the original 1st press of Jackson Heights 'Ragamuffins Fool' on the Vertigo 'swirl' label from 1972.  The album comes with the original large foldout poster.  The embossed cover is still in very good condition with some minor creasing and scuffing.  The LP still has the original 'vertigo swirl' inner poly lined bag in very good condition with no splits or tears.  The vinyl has 1st press matrix numbers (see below).  The labels are in excellent condition.  The vinyl looks near mint, really bright and clean with virtually no marks except a few wispy light sleeve removal marks.  Playback is superb with virtually no surface noise except for some mild channel distortion in places.  If you are intending to make a bid please play and listen to the audio of the album to judge for yourself.

Album Cover notes:
Front and back covers are still in very good condition, some creasing, scuffing
Large foldout poster, very good condition, some discoloration, 4 drawing pin holes in each corner, writing in top left hand corner (see photo)
No writing on cover or labels
Some fraying on edges of cover
Some fraying to spine

Vinyl notes:
I have played this album back in it's entirety at a reasonably loud volume on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones to evaluate its condition.

Matrix Number:
6360077 1Y//2 420 1 1 1
6360077 2Y//2 420 1 1 4

A-side:
Virtually no surface noise except some mild channel distortion in places, excellent playback

B-side:
Virtually no surface noise except some mild channel distortion in places, excellent playback

In general the vinyl is in excellent condition.  It looks very clean with the odd very light surface mark (sleeve removal).  Virtually no surface noise except some mild channel distortion in places, excellent playback.  No skips/jumps.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.

If you have any doubts or questions about this record, please ask me and I will try to be as helpful as I can.
