Another classic session and one of my favorite McLean LPs.This one has Walter Davis,Herbie Lewis,and Billy Higgins. This is a mono pressing with the New York address and 'Van Gelder' and the 'Ear' in the trail off. The cover has a piece of tape (I don't recall using tape on a cover) on the upper seam.The other seams are good. Light wear on the rest of the cover you can see in the photos. The record has an area at the beginning of side 1 that plays worse than the rest of the LP, which plays really well.We have given the soundfile from this bad area to give you an idea of the quality. Includes the original Blue Note inner sleeve. A terrific record.
We have finally decided to sell our massive record collection built up over fifty years. The bulk of this collection consists of classic jazz, rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and bits of classical and classic country.Even some modern day stuff! You will find that, by and large, the records are in superb condition. They were well taken care of. Some I never got around to playing.All have been cleaned on the VPI, and played on my audiophile system. Due to the size of the collection, some of the records are still sealed, but most are open and are in very nice condition.We have tried to take what we liked best from other eBay listing styles to create ours.We decided on 3 pictures, front, back, and the label.You can scroll your mouse over each picture to magnify them.
