THIS RECORD COMES FROM THE ARCHIVE OF GERMAN “JAZZPOPE“ JOACHIM–ERNST BERENDT.
–deep groove on Side A + B, both sides!
–“RVG“-stamp and “ear“/ pretzel in dead wax, both sides
– blue/white labels with "Blue Note Records Inc · 47 West 63rd · NYC" address on both sides
– ® sign on label, both sides
–laminated jacket on front
–Blue Note Records Inc., 43 West 61st Street, New York 23, N.Y. address on back cover
–REVIEW COPY coming from the private archive of Joachim-Ernst Berendt!
LP: VG+ (beautiful shiny surfaces A+B side, very heavy vinyl, however, at the beginning of Side B Track 1 there is a superficial mark (see photo) which only causes very, very slight crackling for a few rotations, it is hardly audible, ask me for a MP3 sound sample of this record, so you can hear it yourself before you bid. Later, this track has another superficial line (see photo) that does not affect play. Overall a beautiful copy of this rare classic!)
The label has a handwritten archive number of German “Jazzpope“ Joachim–Ernst Berendt on Side 1. That Side 1 also has the US-stamp “REVIEW COPY“.
Cover: VG + (laminated shiny cover, some ring wear, the outer left spine is a little hurt at bottom (see photo). The backside has handwritten notes by Joachim–Ernst Berendt, it also has the stamp “Review Copy“ on top. On bottom left, it has a blue sticker saying “JEB“ (the initals of former owner Joachim Ernst-Berendt). The bottom has light water stains visible.
Top right, Berendt wrote down a date with pencil: June 29th, 1961, which was the release date of this album.
The inner sleeve is also by Berendt, having a white sticker with the number of his personal archive.
