JUNIPHER GREENE-Friendship 2LP monster NORWAY 1971 ORIG MINTY !!!

 

(Sonet 1971) This is an ULTRA RARE prog-monster, and maybe the rarest of all the Scandinavian proggers. It's an ORIGINAL COPY of this mega rare norwegian prog album.

 

Beautiful fold out cover showing a dark and gloomy photo of the woods in Norway. Cover art painting from (now) world wide famous Odd Nerdrum (David Bowie loves his art).

 

Musically this is in the landscape of Jethro Tull, Gravy Train etc. – just harder and  better with lots of flute and vibraharps and strong guitar work. English lyrics. This is quite a legendary item, one of the crown jewels of the early Scandinavian progressive scene!

 

Norway/Sonet SLP 1413-1414. Discs are both very close to Near Mint and cover is just perfect and that is stunning as it is a very fragile cover for wear.
