ULTRA  RARE 1ST ORIGINAL UK PRESSING ON THE MAJOR MINOR RECORDS LABEL.  LABEL CAT # MMLP 29 (MONO).  STAMPED MATRIX LP-029A-1B AND LP-029B-1B.  100% GENUINE 1968 FIRST PRESSING WITH GROOVED LABEL, THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE PRESSING.  

THIS LP IS IN UTTERLY FANTASTIC CONDITION AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED!  THE VINYL IS IN TRUE NEAR MINT CONDITION, AND THE AUDIO IS PERFECT.  THE LABELS ARE NICE AND CLEAN, VIRTUALLY DEVOID OF SPINDLE MARKS AROUND THE CENTRE HOLE.  THE LAMINATED FRONT COVER IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION, WITH ONLY A FEW VERY MINOR (AND UNAVOIDABLE) LAMINATION WRINKLES BUT NO DEEP CREASES.  THE REAR COVER IS OF COURSE UNLAMINATED, EXTREMELY NICE AND CLEAN, WITH ‘ROBERT STACE’ PRINTED ON THE SLEEVE.  THE ONLY BLEMISH IS WHAT APPEARS TO BE A TINY BLACK MARKER LINE AT THE TOP OF THE 'L' IN JULY (SEE PICTURE), BUT WE FIND IT QUITE UNOBTRUSIVE.  THE SPINE IS PERFECTLY LEGIBLE, AND THERE ARE NO SEAM SPLITS.

Treehouse Records is the current incarnation of a series of storied record stores at the corner of 26th and Lyndale in south Minneapolis. After becoming Oar Folkjokeopus in 1972 it quickly emerged as the epicenter for the burgeoning 70s and 80s Twin Cities punk scene. Renamed Treehouse in 2001 after the Oar Folk manager took over the business, the store remains a staple of the Twin Cities underground/independent music community and the best source for used vinyl in the state.
