GREAT OBSCURE progressive psych rock from this British band featuring Mark Wirtz. Wirtz, was of course, the man responsible for Keith West's freak beat psych classic 'Excerpt From A Teenage Opera' (Grocer Jack - remember!) and other projects undertaken at EMI's Abbey Road Studios in the sixties.
This album, recorded for Larry Parnes Penny Farthing Records, shows Wirtz trying to update his sound by breaking into the lucrative progressive and psych world. There is also an element of the swamp rock sound of say Tony Joe White, Canned Heat and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Mostly though it's a play for the proggy psych middle ground with great fuzzed out lead guitar from Roger McKew who would later go on to join the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band.
Wirtz not only writes, plays and sings but also the producer of this fine and massively obscure album.

Vinyl: Superb clean condition. No spindle marks and very little sign of use. I would say probably only played a couple of times. Grades as MINT-!
Cover: Again, only minor signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated fully laminated cover (the 'Snarlin' Mumma Lion') - original flipback design with unlaminated back. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, a few light laminate creases due to storage, no ring wear and no split seams. A little spine wear - very minor. Rear unlaminated matt finish cover is predominantly clean displaying just a hint of aging but no ring wear or grubby finger prints. Tiny tear on left opening where record has been pushed into storage. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 44 years after release. Grades as Ex
