THIS AUCTION IS ONLY ONE DAY. Hi folks, up for auction here at no reserve is perhaps the rarest jazz LP. The privately pressed J.R. Monterose in Action with the Joe Abodeely Trio on the Studio 4 label. ACCORDING TO AN INDEPENDENT REVIEWER on the Amazon site, there were only 250 of these pressed. Don't miss out. This is a very clean copy of the original. A reissue just sold for over $50. This is possibly the best surviving original. There is one mark on the LP keeping it from NM status. It clicks on 5 or 6 revolutions at about the volume of the music. Other than that it sounds tremendous. It is a great recording and Monterose's tone will fill your Living room. The cover has no problems, just light overall wear. All seams and corners are good. This will be the last nice copy of this LP you will see for quite awhile.
