JOY DIVISION/DURUTTI COLUMN A Factory Sample FAC 2 - RARE Original Double 7" Single

 

This is a very rare double 7" single of A Factory Sample, the first vinyl release by Factory Records in Dec 1978. Includes tracks by Joy Division, Cabaret Voltaire, Durutti Column & John Dowie.

 

 

This is an original pressing - not a bootleg or a recent repress. Originally issued as a limited edition of 5000. Some of them included stickers, but unfortunately there are no stickers with this one

 

 

The cover of the EP is made of rice paper, dyed silver and sealed inside a thin plastic bag.The cover was designed by Peter Saville.

 

 Matrix numbers/run out groove markings:

  • side A  FAC 2 - A1 EVERYTHING
  • side B FAC 2 - B1 IS REPAIRABLE
  • side C  FAC 2 - C1 EVERYTHING
  • side D  FAC 2 - D1 IS BROKEN

    Record - EX - both are spotless

    Cover - VG+ (Some crinkles on paper cover, which seems to be the case on alot of these)
