Description
Released and bought by myself in the summer of 1979, Unknown Pleasures was the only album released by Joy Division (their first) before Ian Curtis' death. I bought it in a fit of enthusiasm for New Wave music, but I really never took to it. More importantly, my wife hated it, so it has remained unplayed since then!
It is in exceptional condition, unmarked, unworn, and clean - even the matrix details are crystal clear:
Side A :FACT 10 - INSIDE 1 "A PORKY PRIME CUT" & "STEP"
Side B - FACT 10 - OUTSIDE 1 "A PORKY PRIME CUT" & "THIS IS THE WAY"
The textured sleeve (printed by Garrod & Lofthouse) doesn't come over too well in the photograph, but it too is in excellent condition. I have added a selection of photographs of the disc itself, in varying light, to give an idea of just how good a condition this LP is in. A very rare opportunity to acquire this original pressing in such condition.
