Description
JOY DIVISION UNKNOWN PLEASURES Released in 1979 on Factory Records Fact 10. Classic, superb first album from one of the most influential bands of the last 30 years. This is a really good copy of the first print run. The vinyl is ruby red when held up to a light and the run offs on each side have the words 'A Porky Prime Cut' written in. Also, on side one the run off says 'Step' and side two says 'This is the Way'. The quality of the vinyl is superb, clean and shiny and it plays like new with no background noise or crackle. The white inner sleeve has the curved corners and this is intact with no tears. However, there are slight creases some ring wear at corners and some very faint scuffs. The black outer sleeve is textured and this has no tears but there is some ring wear on both sides and wear on the edges.
The outer sleeve shows wear but, otherwise, this is a nice copy of a classic. The really good thing about this copy is the quality of the vinyl, which is a delight to listen to.
Joy Division are, to my ears, the best band of the last 30 years and the only reason I'm selling this is that I have recently got a slightly better copy.
