this is the rare limited edition original UK 1st pressing with hard clothbound 'hessian' gatefold outer sleeve with embossed card gatefold inner sleeve held in place by ribbon & die cut card inner sleeves with grey & white paper labels
on rare original UK 1st pressing 2 x LP in clothbound hessian outer sleeve & gatefold picture sleeve with die cut card inner sleeves & paper labels
released on Factory Records FACT 40 in 1981
etched matrices are :- FACT 40 A2 THE CHICKEN WON'T STOP CW & FACT 40 B1 CW -< -< -< -< -< -< & FACT 40 C1 CW -< -< -< -< & FACT 40 D1 CW THE CHICKEN STOPS HERE
The condition of the records are very good ( have a few light hairlines / withdrawal marks but plays through fine ) .
The clothbound sleeve has mild rubbing / ageing on edges & spine & a small mark on the reverse , the ribbon is still intact .
The gatefold picture sleeve has mild discolouring on edges .
The inner die cut sleeves have mild discolouring on edges.
The labels are clean with some spotting & a few very light spindle marks .
A great original UK 1st pressing with the clothbound sleeve !
