VERY RARE ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH THE HESSIAN "HARDBACK BOOK" COVER OUTER SLEEVE, COMPLETE WITH SILVER GREY RIBBON. 

SUPERB LIGHTLY TEXTURED CARD GREY OUTER SLEEVE COVER COMPLETE WITH MATCHING GREY CARD INNER SLEEVES.

RECORDED AND RELEASED IN 1981, A TRUE JOY DIVISION MASTERPIECE.

Great collection of Joy Division classics.

Both records are in excellent condition. The labels are very good, clean, no wear, no writing, no unwanted stickers, some light aging spots on the labels.

The Vinyl is very clean and in excellent condition, both records are in excellent condition and both play very well. The vinyl is superb, reasonably heavy duty, quality vinyl, much more typical of the 60's than the 80's.The vinyl surface of the records are excellent, only very few very light surface marks are visible under strong light, as expected at this age, probably resultant of removal from the card inner sleeves, overall an excellent example. Some very light background detectable to the lead ins to all sides, where needle will have dropped, as it quite normal on records that have been played. Overall plays excellent.  The Vinyl is a rich dark black and has a high gloss sheen and classic Stereo sound.

The outer hessian book is in very good condition. There are no splits to the thin hessian coating, no wear to the edges, no writing, some signs of aging and fading through storage to the extreme edges. The corners and spine are excellent, No dents or nasty marks on the sleeve. The inner book face is lined with white textured card, some very light aging marks are present but only to be expected after 27 years !!.  The silver grey ribbon is flat and crease free and still neatly tied  

The soft textured finish of the original Gatefold Garrod and Lofthouse thick card sleeve is very good, some spots of aging on outer sleeve and fadind to extreme edges. The Inner Sleeves are both in excellent condition, perfect having been housed away in the sleeve pockets. No marks or creases. All sleeves have Matt finish. There are No tears, writing, unwanted stickers, marks from stickers on the sleeve. All the outer edges are intact and in excellent order. The spine is totally rigid, and all the text is intact. The opening edges are extremely sharp and in excellent order, totally free from creases. The inner gatefold is excellent, no signs of any wear or staining and free from grubby marks writng and rips. Track Listings and creditds etc on the inner sleeve with white text. Rounded corner inner opening pocket edge.  Excellent example of both the records and the sleeves.

Record comes complete with an excellent matching pair of plain grey card Inner Sleeves which have the rounded edge to one top corner to match the inner opening edges of the sleeve, and centre record label cut out. All the edges are clean and perfectly straight. Inner sleeves near perfect through having been housed in the inner pockets of the outer card sleeve. Overall an excellent example. In order to avoid damage with post and further use, the records will be in new poly lined paper inner slleves. 

The Records will be posted in fully protective packaging.
