The band Journey started out in the 70s, in the San Francisco Bay area, after two guys left Santana (Keyboardist Gregg Rolie and guitarist Neil Schon). When singer Steve Perry joined the group, they saw success on a level that few others experienced in their entire careers! Journey had hits on the radio and was very popular in the 70s, but Journey owned the 80s! Some of the best selling albums and the biggest tours from that decade were by Journey...

In 1983, nearly FORTY years ago, Journey released 'Frontiers'. It sold well, millions of copies, and gave us the big radio hits: "Faithfully", "Separate Ways [World's Apart]", and "Send Her My Love". That same year, the Japanese division of their record company released a special, EXTREMELY limited picture disc LP of that great rock classic! Now Journey only ever released a couple of picture discs. There was a 12" pic disc for "Don't Stop Believing", and a couple of 7" single pic discs, and maybe a couple of shaped pic discs. But a full album picture disc LP? Only THIS ONE!

It came in a pretty sweet package. It includes song lyrics, (in both English, as well as Japanese), and its original jacket. (See pics for all of the pieces in the import package.) The vinyl looks amazing, and probably has never even been played! All of the inserts look great. The jacket is not a full carboard sleeve. More of a backi g card that folds over. It has a few imperfections. (See pics for minor flaws on the "sleeve".) There is no writing or tears on any kind on the materials. And the vinyl record itself is still all shiny and clean, with no scratches, scuffs, or glitches that I can see!
