(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded! We grade records under the strong diffuse room light)
VERY GOOD (VG). This one would be graded much higher, but there are some strange markings (spots - NOT SCRATCHES, LINES, or ABRASIONS) on the vinyl. I have done some research, and I believe that they were caused by years of storage in the original plastic (NOT paper) record sleeve! (This IS visible in pictures 4 & 5. First song only.) I did NOT attempt to do any deep cleaning, as the balance of the vinyl is shiny, and the entire record is flat and plays cleanly. As I recall, I purchased this album in 1970, directly from the band, during a concert in the basement of Houston’s Gulfgate Mall! It has been cared for and played minimally, ONLY ON QUALITY EQUIPMENT.

The record is pressed on VERY THICK, inflexible vinyl. NOT thin, flimsy ('dynaflex') vinyl.

Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!

COVER IS IN NICE CONDITION, BUT DOES SHOW SCUFFS AND MILD RINGWARE. THERE IS A BIT OF ROUGHNESS ALONG THE BOTTOM, AND THE REMNANTS OF SOME SORT OF STICKER ON THE BOTTOM LEFT BACK SIDE. I DO NOT RECALL WHAT WAS ORIGINALLY ON THIS STICKER, IF ANYTHING (IT MAY HAVE BEEN A “PURCHASED” MARKING??? THE TOP RIGHT OF THE COVER IS ALSO BEGINNING TO SPLIT (ABOUT 3”).

No tearing: no chips or nicks on the seams
