Original issue on the Dawn label from 1973. NOT a reissue of any kind. The record is translucent wine colour. Underlying the history of Jonesy has been the turbulent relationship between two brothers: Trevor (Gypsy) and John Evan-Jones whose previous bands included Sweaty Betty, Mickey Finn, and Anno Domini. Included in the line-up here is Alan Bown who had led his own excellent ‘Alan Bown Set’.
John Evan-Jones – Guitars,vocals / Jamie Laleth – Mellotron,keyboards,lead vocals / Alan Bown – Electric trumpet & flugelhorn / Gypsy Jones – Bass,recorder,vocals / Plug Thomas – Drums,vocals.
The record is very good with a few very light ‘paper’ lines. Few clicks heard at the start but cleaned on my vinyl machine it plays very well and the music cuts through fine. The unlaminated Gatefold Sleeve is good with some wear. It has a scuff top left and light wear. Inside there’s a mark down the middle. There is no rips or writing. Unfortunately there is no inner lyric sheet.
Record will be sent tracked and insured to all locations.
