 JONATHAN RICHMAN & THE MODERN LOVERS -
 ULTRA-RARE Columbia Reference Recording vinyl LP!

This is possibly one of a kind or at least one of less than 10 copies in existence!

This is the actual "glass master" reference recording, also known as an "acetate", for the first Modern Lovers album! 
I believe this pre-dates the official release in 1976 and may possibly be from as far back as 1972 or 73.  It has the Columbia Records logo on it and says "Columbia Reference Recording".

There are no matrix numbers in the trail off.

Labels just say: Modern Lovers, 33 rpm, Stereo, and the running time of each side at the bottom of the label.

Tracks are: Roadrunner, Astro Plane, I Love the Old World, Pablo Picasso (Was Never Called an Asshole), She Cracked, Hospital, Someone I Care About, Girlfriend, Modern World.

It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION and comes in a generic white 12" sleeve.

Again, this is most likely one of less than 10 copies in existence!  INCREDIBLY RARE!!
