Description

This is one of THE major folk rarities of the 1970's. This is JON RAVEN with 'Kate of Coalbrookedale' which was released on Argo records in 1971. Jon is joined on vacals bu JEAN WARD and the musicians are Jon himself, his brother MIKE RAVEN and PETE SAGE. Even better, the reverse of the sleeve has been signed by Jon. 

There are 14 tracks: Brisk young butcher/ I wish, I wish/ Brave collier lads/Buxom dairy maid/ Kate of Coalbrookdale/ Cold blows the wind/ Wife for sale/ Soldier's fancy/ Bold william Taylor/ Rose of Cashmere/ Nine times a night/ Collier lass/ Pirate's serenade/ Grey cock.

The sleeve is VG+ with minor edgewear and minor creasing. The record is at least VG+ with just a couple of minor, non sounding, marks on Side 1.  The Argo label is yellow and in excellent condition with no writing or tears.
