Description
This is an auction for the most exciting Johnny Winter album on ebay maybe ever. My friend Don owned a blues club in the early 60's in Texas. He was good friends with Johnny Winter at the time. Johnny gave him this record as a present. There were only 100 of this first run of records each is signed on the cover since there was NO graphic art at all on either side of the cover! This one is #34 of 100! it is labeled with the Progressive Blues Experiment stamp and the SonoBeat Stereo stamp. It has a series of numbers hand scratched into the inner circle at the record pressing facility. The record is in pretty good condition, I would give it a B+ there are no deep scratches but a couple tiny tiny drips of candle wax on the "second half" side. I read that you can remove these with a warm iron and wax paper, but I felt like someone who knew what they were doing should do that. So if the wax was removed I think it would take this baby up to an A-. Very playable record. I will pack it VERY well so as not to break it so there is a reasonable packing and shipping fee. This is 1 out of 100 that exist total so I want to make sure it survives the trip. But I am not trying to rip people off so I will work out a true shipping cost with the buyer. I would much rather have a professional at place like Mail boxes ect. pack the record so the shipping may be close to the amount, but I will work with the winning bidder how ever they want it sent.
