This one is the first mono pressing of Johnny Griffin's STUDIO JAZZ PARTY. Riverside Records RLP 338. This is an original issue from Riverside Records, issued in 1960, not a reissue version.  Blue Labels and Deep Groove on both labels.  4 Stars Album. Very Rare in this condition.


Johnny Griffin (tenor saxophone), Dave Burns (trumpet), Norman Simmons (piano), Victor Sproles (bass), Ben Riley (drums).  With Babs Gonzales as an announcer. 


The vinyl looks bright and glossy. Under the bright light, lust and shinny.  I've played test this record on my system and it plays NM on both sides.    


The cover is rated NM-.  No split, no crack. Just small paper loss and has small yellow spots on the back, due to age.


The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
