Who now remembers John Wright, a soulful & bluesy pianist who sounded rather like Bobby Timmons and made some nice records for Prestige in the '60s? This is a first pressing (1961) of his second Prestige album; with the solid rhythm team of Wendell marshall (bass), JC Heard (drums) he plays:
