ULTRA RARE "TRUE BLUE" AUSSIE TIME CAPSULE
BRAND NEW - JOHN WILLIAMSON'S 1989 ALBUM WARRAGUL PLUS WHITE LABEL RADIO INTERVIEW DISC
This is a truly amazing time capsule literally saved from the dumpster by me in 1991, and put into expensive, temperature controlled long, long term storage till today.
The radio station to which it was given insisted on binning all their vinyl, most of them unplayed, just like this one. The management announced to all staff, if you want it, take it because it's all getting crushed.
Nobody at my pop station cared less about vinyl, especially anything country but having interviewed the legendary John on air myself multiple times I saw it for what it was ... a gem.
It was Williamson's first #1 album overall and won the ARIA for Best Country Album in 1990.
But this is an entire press pack - absolutely brand new and includes

the original pressing of the LP album - unplayed
a double-sided, unplayed open radio interview LP - never released!!

a JW biography
song notes printed on a dot matrix printer :)

All of them are in mint condition as you can see - over a third of a century after release. You could mount this - in fact it should be mounted as a tribute to one of the great Australian artists of all time.
