Description
This Bare Wires album by John Mayalls Blues Breakers on the unboxed red Decca label in mono is a first pressing on 155gm vinyl. The matrix numbers are ARL8340-1A and ARL8340-1A. The disc itself still has a high gloss. It has no surface marks other than a few paper scuffs and one very small scratch on the run out of the final track on side 1. There is very light spindle marking on the labels and no hole wear. I would grade the vinyl as very good to excellent. (Please see photographs for a better idea of record quality.
The original poly inner sleeve is in excellent condition.
The laminated gatefold outer sleeve is in excellent condition with no ringwear. The laminate has slightly detached on the spine edge but is not broken. The spine itself is excellent.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />I bought the album from new and it has been kept upright in a custom built cupboard away from light and damp in virtually dust free conditions since then. It had minimal playings when bought and has been unplayed since - apart from the check I carried out recently prior to listing it on Ebay.
Sound quality is excellent for its age.
The LP will be sent in a strong brown LP mailer with stiffener. If you require insurance please contact me.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
