Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by John Mayall's Bluesbreakers called "Bare Wires" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press UNBOXED Decca label!!!!  (This item is being relisted thanks to yet another spiffing non paying bidder who thought would be absolutely delightful to waste everybodys time by pointlessly bidding and not paying.... ho hum....) THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF JOHN MAYALL'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE, AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE UK EXPORT!!!!  AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  AS MANY PEOPLE WILL ALREADY KNOW - THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED DONESTICALLY IN THE UK WITH A STANDARD GATEFOLD COVER & UNBOXED DECCA LABEL.  HOWEVER - A TINY HANDFUL WERE PRESSED COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY (LIKE THIS ONE!) FOR EXPORT ONLY!!!!  INCREDIBLY, THIS LP HAS A 'SINGLE SLEEVE' LAMINATED COVER, AND A 'LYRIC/CREDITS' INSERT - WHICH WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR EXPORT ONLY!!!!  AND IT IS VERY EASY TO PROVE THIS - AND ALSO VERIFY THE AGE OF THIS LP!!!!  THIS LP HAS NO 'MONO/STEREO' BOX ON THE COVER BACK (LATER ONES FROM 1969/70 DID!), HAS 1ST PRESS 1W/1W MATRIX ENDINGS (LATER ONES DONT!), 1ST PRESS 'UNBOXED' DECCA LABEL (LATER ONES FROM LATE 1969 ONWARDS DONT!), 1ST PRESS 'LARGE' LABEL TEXT (LATER ONES DONT!), 1ST PRESS 'STEREOPHONIC' INNER SLEEVE (USUALLY RESERVED FOR EXPORTS ONLY!), AND 1ST PRESS 'JT' LABEL TAX CODING (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!!  AND MOST IMPORTANTLY ON THE INSERT - IT HAS 'ALL COUNTRIES' TEXT - WHICH IS ANOTHER INDICATOR THAT THIS LP WAS MEANT FOR 'EXPORT ONLY'!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE - AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS AN ULTRA RARE UK EXPORT 1ST PRESSING!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK EXPORT 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS UNBOXED DECCA LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1W/1W MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'JT' LABEL TAX CODING, 1ST PRESS 'LARGE' LABEL TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'STEREOPHONIC' INNER SLEEVE, ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'LYRICS/CREDITS' INSERT, AND 1ST PRESS 'ROBERT STACE' LAMINATED STEREO COVER (WITH NO 'MONO/STEREO' BOX)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK EXPORT 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SKL 4945 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Decca label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK STEREO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 TINY hairlines, only 3 or 4 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Stereophonic' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  THE ULTRA RARE 'LYRIC/CREDITS' INSERT IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  The 1st Press 'Robert Stace' Laminated STEREO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL, NO yellowing, only VERY slight rubbing, only 2 small virtually INVISIBLE residue/wear traces at the VERY bottom, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!  It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!!  THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1968 UK EXPORT 1ST PRESSING OF "BARE WIRES" BY JOHN MAYALL'S BLUESBREAKERS, IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!
