Description
This is a beautiful first USA pressing, stereo copy of John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers’ vinyl LP titled “Bare Wires”, London Records catalog number PS 537, released in 1968. This version of The Bluesbreakers features guitarist Mick Taylor, who later joined the Rolling Stones.
This LP is from my personal collection and was purchased new and played exclusively on a high end turntable. It was play tested for this listing in order to provide an accurate description.
This 50 year old record was pressed on thick vinyl. It is in excellent condition. There is a scuff on side 1 which is not audible. The record sounds great with only minimal stylus on vinyl sounds. The record labels are in excellent condition.
The outer gate-fold jacket shows minor ring wear on front and back but is otherwise in excellent condition, solid all around. The original London Records printed inner sleeve is in perfect condition (see pictures).
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
