Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by John Mayall, Blues Breakers With Eric Clapton.
This was released on Decca Records in 1966 and has catalogue number LK4804. This is the 1st pressing with red and silver labels, a groove runs around the circumference of the label and the Decca lettering is in large letters (unboxed). This also has the Beano sleeve. This is mono.

Condition: The sleeve has some very mild discolouring, some of which will clean of the front laminated surface. There are a few small lamination creases and lastly very light buffing to the very corners. Spine and edges fine, no tears, bends or creases, lamination at mouth ex. Please check the pictures a very nice sleeve and graded at a strict VG+.
This comes with its original patents pending inner sleeve that has a little yellowing (no tears).
Labels: Both labels are clean, under closer examination some spider spindle trails can be seen on each side, the centre hole shows signs of wear on both sides.
Vinyl- both sides retain there near new shine, when held under a strong light a few tiny feather scratches and a couple of very faint cleanable marks can be seen. When placed on my deck a very subtle warp can be seen, this certainly does not effect the playing of this record in any way and is certainly non-audible. I have play tested this record through both sides and I am very pleased to say that this plays how it looks which is very nice indeed.
Side 1 has a quiet entry and goes on to play with very little lessening in sound quality. Quiet introductions and breaks between tracks, the music itself plays strong and clear with no distortion, fading or dragging heard whatsoever, other than the occasional very quiet crackle this side plays perfectly.
Side 2 has the same quiet entry and breaks between tracks. The music itself plays strong and clear through this side with no fading, distortion or dragging heard whatsoever. Again other than the very occasional very quiet crackle you would think it was new.
This plays at Near Mint, with very little lessening in sound quality but is given a strict grade of VG+, down-graded simply because it has been played more than a few times.
This one I strongly recommend, if your buying for sound quality this ones for you, a fine addition to any collection.
