Notes: Personnel: John Mayall (vocals, guitar, harmonica, piano, organ); Peter Green (vocals, guitar, harmonica); John McVie (bass); Mick Fleetwood, Aynsley Dunbar (drums); Paul Butterfield.Producers: Mike Vernon, John Mayall. Recorded between 1966 & 1968. Includes liner notes by John Mayall. Following Eric Clapton's departure after the magnificent Bluesbreakers album, Mayall plugged the gap with Peter Green. Little did anyone know (except Green) that he would equal Clapton in the minds of fans and the cogniscenti. Two instrumentals on this collection, Freddie King's "The Stumble" and Green's "The Super-Natural", clearly demonstrate the clean sound of his Gibson Les Paul. The line-up is completed by bassist John McVie and Aynsley Dunbar on drums. Ex-commercial artist Mayall also designed and painted the cover, which itself is a fine piece of art-work and is probably rotting in some printer's basement, long forgotten.

I add new listings most days..........please take a look
All items carefully graded audio-visually, and are played on a high quality system.
I usually begin items at a low price to generate interest and bidding.....................
Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I realize the requirements in the gradings of sleeves and discs , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised in listings ........I grade the discs (using The UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition..................
I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as 'Stunning!! Rare!! Awsome!!, padded out with grossly long winded descriptions , many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading........ I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records, with concise and accurate grading descriptions......................
I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)
I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell , having bought copies of my own at the time of issue , always interested in the label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to help.
Please check my feedback ratings , you will see that a large amount (over 2000) of my feedbacks are from repeat customers (many thanks).........and in the event of genuine complaints I will remedy the situation as soon as possible......
