Description
Supremely rare private cut promo of John Lennons War Is Over single. This was cut in styrene as John was extremely unhappy with Apples promotional material for War Is Over, at a time when the relationships between The Beatles were fraught it's not surprising that tensions were high. As a result lennon took it upon himself to private press promotional records on AN Apple label but not THE apple label hence it is a white label promo, unique in its design when viewed against the Apple back catalogue.
I would grade this as NM/NM- it originally came from a former Apple employee and was purchased from a reputable Beatles dealer in the UK. This ought to be in the collection of any Lennon fan. A superb addition to any collection and one you'll find it hard to upgrade.
