A bona-fide original pressing of this classic example of how messy the music biz can get! You can read the full, fascinating story of how these rough mixes from Lennon’s oldies project, with producer PHIL SPECTOR, were leaked out onto this TV-hawked disc. Few have heard these raw ‘n’ ready early mixes. They offer a fascinating contrast to the issued Lennon LP of much of the same material.
The vinyl contains the tell-tale clues that this is the real deal: a Bell Sound machine matrix and hand etched A8018A in run off groove.

Condition:
JACKET: Gorgeous. Only light superficial wear. Spine reads: “Sings The Great Rock & Roll Hits.” Overall, this sleeve is M-.
VINYL: As you’ve heard, this is a clean, glossy, and strong-sounding record. Light paper sleeve debris is easily cleaned off. One small visible sleeve scuff to “Bony Moronie” track. A sweet EX+ disc. Just a blank stock paper inner sleeve--not the special Adam VIII inner sleeve that some collectors desire.
