Mega Rare Original UK 1969 Earliest 1st Pressing (1U//1U) 'Live Peace in Toronto' By John Lennon!!! Complete with Mega Rare UK Calendar!!! Original 1st Press Dark Apple Labels & Complete with Original Garrod & Lofthouse 'Narrow Spine' 1st Press Sleeve!!!

You are bidding on the impossibly rare 'Complete' UK 1st Pressing of the scarce 1969 'Live Peace' album by John Lennon and featuring Eric Clapton among others, on the Apple Record label!!! There are a number of features that make this record extra special though... Firstly it is the mega rare earliest UK 1st pressing on the 'Dark Apple' labels with extra thick & chunky (and very heavy!) vinyl and that elusive 1U//1U matrix!!! What's more it comes with the Earliest Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve with the very rare 'narrow spine' variation (this was only on the earliest 1st press sleeves - just like the 1968 UK 1st pressings of Abbey Road!). Finally, and perhaps most importantly, it is complete with the MEGA RARE calendar!!! These are IMPOSSIBLE to find today, the original UK calendars NEVER show up (in fact the only time you ever see this record with a calendar is on the much more common U.S. pressings!). Don't miss this one as you will not see another for a very long time!!! This is a really amazing record and I am going to describe it a meticulously as possible so you all know EXACTLY what you are getting for your money!!! The Classic 1st press DARK Apple Records Centre Labels are in great condition!!! They have NO Tears, NO Scribbles. NO lifting or Bubbling, NO Grubbyness and NO unwanted writing of any kind to whatsoever - there are just the lightest spindle lines that can only be seen when angling the record toward strong light and that's it!!! The thick & chunky super heavy UK 1st press disc is also in STUNNING condition!!! The pristine glass-like shine on this record makes it look as new, it has clearly hardly ever been played before!!! It has NO Scratches, NO Scuffs, NO Groove-wear and NO warping - if held up close to a window you are just able to make out one or two light wispy hairlines on side 1 and other than paper lines that's it!!! The record still retains ALL its original gloss and shine and has NO dulling and NO nasty greying of the grooves!!!  For a UK 1st Press to look & play like this is very rare!!!   The thick quality pressed chunky vinyl looks and feels great (it is very heavy!) This record easily grades as Excellent even by my own strict grading standards (most would grade it a solid Mint or Nr Mint). The MEGA RARE Garrod & Lofthouse 1st press fully laminated 'Narrow Spine' sleeve is also in tremendous condition!!! It has retained all of its stiffness (not gone floppy and lifeless like most around today) and has NO Tears, and absolutely NO feathering of the opening edge (mega rare for this sleeve!!!) There are NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind!!! There is virtually NO ring wear and just the occasional miniscule laminate crease coming out from the spine!!! There is very little seam wear and just a light blemish on the top of the reverse side (but it is tiny - approx 1cm). A very nice cover indeed which easily grades as a full Excellent if not better!!! Believe me, like all my other records this is in no way over-graded!!! The Mega Rare calendar is fully intact with all pages present and tightly bound!!! The staples are nice and strong and there is just some dates that have been circled inside and some tape residue where the previous owner had pasted a picture to the front (as instructed to do by John Lennon!) There are NO rips or tears to the pages and virtually NO grubbiness!! Please don't miss this one as UK 1st pressings (especially with mega rare calendars) just NEVER show up anymore!!!  A beautiful example of a truly massively rare Beatles Related UK 1st pressing!!! Don't miss it because once its gone its gone!!!

We will only ship to non-UK countries via Airmail - we do not use surface mail, it is way too slow and thus increases the risk of records being damaged during transit.

A little note about insurance - Please read carefully... If the value of your record(s) is over £30, your invoice will include an insured option. Being the responsible adults you are, it is entirely up to you to take this up  - we strongly advise you to do this but will not hassle you about it. You either add the required insurance or you don't. If you do add the required insurance and your record is lost/damaged, you will get a refund. However, there will always be somebody out there whose expectations far exceed UK record collector grading standards.  If you are in anyway unsatisfied with your record or our grading of it please refer to the UK Record Collector Grading Chart very carefully BEFORE emailing us. We strictly adhere to it and will only offer refunds (minus the postage AND our eBay costs) if we are satisfied that we have fallen below UK record collector grading standards. This will very rarely, if ever, happen. We will not be impressed with buyers disputing our gradings without even bothering to check the UK record collector grading standards chart first - you have been warned ...

Buyers who continually Haggle, Whine and Moan to try to decrease the price they won their auctions for will be blocked from bidding on future auctions and can toodle off down to HMV or Virgin where they can harass the counter staff there.

We will always leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. In an ideal world we would like to leave feedback as soon as the record has been shipped but due to feedback blackmail in the past (i,e, ",,,I want a partial refund or I will leave negative feedback") we have opted to take this measure.
