Description
LP by John Lee Hooker entitled "The Folk Lore of..." released in 1961 on Vee Jay (SR-1033). Original US stereo pressing with oval logos on rainbow-rimmed labels. The cover is in mostly intact shrink wrap. "Stereophonic" is printed at the top of the front cover and there is a factory "Vee Jay" sticker at the top left on the front cover as issued. The front cover is laminated. The lamination ends just short of the front cover's opening edge, so there is a very thin strip of exposed paper along the front edge of the opening with some darkened spots (factory fault...see photo). The back cover has the letters "NR" rubber stamped under the shrink (perhaps issued as a promo from the factory meaning "no return"?). The cover is otherwise M-. The record is M-. I use oversized LP mailers with plenty of bubble wrap to fully protect the cover's corners and edges during transit. Sealed albums are strapped between cardboard flats to secure the vinyl inside and prevent splits.
This album is guaranteed as described or I will gladly provide a full refund including postage costs both ways.
