Description
A nice pressing of the Never Get Out of These Blues Alive album by John Lee Hooker on ABC Records (ABC-736) from 1972. The title track features vocals from Van Morrison. The personnel also includes Steven Miller, Elvin Bishop, Cliff Coulter, Charlie Musselwhite, Mel Brown and Michael White among others. The label information on the back cover reads: "ABC Records, Inc. Los Angeles, California 90048, New York, New York 10019."
The labels are black with the ABC Records logo. The hand-etched matrix reads: "ABCX 736," along with a "TSM" hand-etched in the trail off on both sides.
The front cover is clean and glossy with some light ring wear. The corners are all dinged -- the right two are split about a quarter inch. The top and bottom seams have some wear. The back cover has light ring wear along with some surface scuffing/scratching.
The vinyl is VG+ (8 out of 10, vinyl looks great aside from a scuff mark or two; there is one residue spot at the end of the last track on side 1 into the trail off -- looks like a good clean would probably take this off). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
