Description
This is a very rare John Lee Hooker LP titled “Live At Café Au Go Go” on the BluesWay label catalog number BLS-6002, in stereo, recorded live in 1966 released in 1967. John Lee Hooker is accompanied on this performance by Muddy Waters and his band. In my opinion it is one of John Lee’s best albums. This is a 1st pressing of the recording.
All records that I have for sale are from my personal collection and were purchased new and played exclusively on a high end turntable.
This 49 year old record was pressed on extra thick vinyl. It is in excellent condition with a few very small scuff lines on the surface which cannot be felt and are not audible. The record sounds great with minimal stylus on vinyl sounds and occasional light clicking with a few light pops. Record labels are in like new condition. The outer jacket has two small staple holes where a price tag had been attached by the record store which was a common practice in the 60s. There is minor corner wear but the seams are solid and overall the jacket is in excellent condition (see pictures).
I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
