Description

Prestige 7142

Beautiful original mono press from 1958 captures Coltrane after Blue Train but before Kind of Blue.  Band includes Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Arthur Taylor and covers of  "I Want to Talk to About You" and "Russian Lullaby" are among the highlights.       

Vinyl is VG+++*, with high gloss and a couple very fine, light marks.  It is almost NEAR MINT. 

Laminated cover is in excellent shape.  There is 4" and 1" splits on the bottom edge and yellowing on the back (see photo below). 

Deep groove labels are clean, with barely perceptible spindle trails (see photos below).

RVG is machine stamped in the dead wax.
