Description

Up for auction is this rare 1961 copy of John Coltrane's "Lush Life" on the yellow and black prestige label. This excellent authentic copy displays the deep groove on the label along with the RVG on the dead wax. The NM cover is beautiful with a glossy front cover and a nice appealing back cover. It looks very similar as it would over fifty six years ago when  bought with its original price tag and does show some light surface wear around the corners. The label also represents a very nice and clean appearance. It shows virtually no wear or spindle marks with a vibrant yellow and black combination of colors cnstituting a NM- grade. The vinyl displays a vibrant and glossy surface with some light hairlines and scuffs that show up when held up for close inspection to a bright light. I would grade the vinyl as VG++. Finding this original first pressing in this overall beautiful condition is very difficult. For the jazz collector that is serious about rarity and condition, this is one should look at.
