JOHN COLTRANE: Infinity LP (Impulse! AS-9225). Gatefold cover. Posthumous release of later-period Trane (1965-66) with strings, harp, percussion, and other instruments overdubbed by Alice Coltrane in 1972, giving it a sort of kozmigroov feel. Musicians include John, Alice, and Oran Coltrane, Charlie Haden, Rashied Ali, McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, Elvin Jones, Pharaoh Sanders, Ray Appleton, and Joan Chapman.
