Description

John Coltrane : Blue Train. Blue Note 1577, Side 2 label is 47 W 63rd and Side 1 is deep groove with New York USA label. RVG in runoff. VG+ vinyl. Side A has lost its sheen but is clean with a few hairlines and plays very nicely. Side B good gloss, scattered light hairlines and a couple tiny (1/8") feelable marks. Sleeve I have to give it VG. Top split 6" from opening, spine 2" split at bottom and bottom seam 1" split at left. By and large a pretty nice copy of one of the all-time classics.

Goldmine grading standards. Vinyl is visually graded unless noted, and usually only spot-played otherwise. On eBay you find grading from honest to grossly exaggerated. I try hard to grade conservatively and honestly, and describe things as I see them - just like I'd want a seller to do for me. We all know one person's VG+ is another person's VG.
