JOHN COLTRANE “Blue Train” P, RVG, LAM, Blue Note 1577 MINT Mono Vinyl

This is the "RVG” stamped, Laminated Cover, P-pressing of JOHN COLTRANE’s “Blue Train” on the “New York” labels of Blue Note BLP 1577.  

VINYL plays beautifully, clean, with intermittent pops and ticks. Ensemble sections are very dynamic, punchy and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Good gloss. Clean surface. The "New York” labels are generally clean. See photos.

LAMINATED COVER is in EXCELLENT shape, SPINE AND SEAMS SOLID. Lower right front corner bent, with water damage. Two medium sized tears on lower front cover. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 47 West 63rd St., New York 23” back jacket is clean with some stains, water stains lower left. Please see photos.
